Tactical Shotgun I

This is not a sporting clays or skeet shooting shotgun course. This course was designed for the practical application of home defense and the patrol officer. During this course you will learn to rapidly and decisively engage targets from close contact out to 50 yards and beyond. At the completion of this course you will leave with an operational confidence with this multipurpose weapon platform. This course is a must for anyone who chooses to own or use a shotgun for defense or patrol duty. Listed below is the course curriculum.

Equipment requirements:

Shooters are required to bring eye and ear protection and range appropriate clothing. Knee and elbow pads are not required but they are highly recommended. Students must also bring 300 rounds of (#7 ½ or #8 shot), 25 rounds of double 00 buck (#4 shot is acceptable), and 20 slugs. Each shooter is required to bring their duty or personal shotgun. (Preferably 12 gauge)

Tactical Shotgun II

This course was designed for the shooter or patrol officer who wants to take their shotgun handling skills to the next level. After a brief review of skills learned in Shotgun I shooters will be taught to maneuver their long gun in close quarters environments. We will practice negotiating barricades as well as room clearing techniques. Shooters will be challenged with shooting on the move and engaging moving targets. This course is where it all comes together in a high speed moving combat course.
